There are some small changes - it previews more of the topic now when you hover than it used to, there is now a "report to mod" button on private messages, an ability to turn PMs off as well as make parts of your profile private, larger avatar sizes, tags on posts for easier searching, the ability in polls to let it show you who voted for what option, visual editors for signatures that a lot of people prefer over the code editors, the ability to add a "reason for edit" when you edit your posts...
The largest change right now, however, is behind the scenes. The software now being used for JM is much more stable and capable of handling the traffic that JM sees every day. There will be more speed and less downtime now that we have switched. Also, there are stronger, better features still coming that haven't been implemented yet; I know the "About Me" page we used to have on the old boards is no longer here, but there is something bigger and better on the way. Once the transition is done to make sure the forums are running as they should be, they will be able to work on new features coming that our old software couldn't handle.
