I usually use JM on my desktop computer and never had problems seeing animated blinkies and siggies like this:

Now I am using DH's laptop until our desktop computer is reformatted (again) and I can't see these blinkies and siggies. Well, I can see them but they are stuck on the first part of the sequence. I don't know if anyone here knows what application I am missing or anything... I tried downloading Java and Flashplayer and they still aren't working in Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer. Any ideas?

If the laptop is running an internet accelerator program, it usually kills animation. Do you know if you have that type of software installed?

Thanks for a response! No, we do not have an accelerator program running. Any other ideas?
