Marquee's

Hi I posted this question before but never got a response to it.

I'm having issues with the scrolling siggies. It will only get to the second one before resetting itself and goes back to the beginning.

Any ideas? This is very annoying.

Is it all scrolling siggies, or just a specific one?

What browser and operating system are you using?

Have you tried things like clearing your cookies and temporary files? You coukd also try switching viewing siggies off, log out, log in again and switch them on again just in case it gives them a 'jump start'

I am using IE 8 and I'm using Windows Vista. I never had a problem before, so I'm not sure whats up!

And its all scrolling siggies....not just mine.

Thank you for the suggestion Misty.....I tried that and it didn't work

Any other ideas??

Hmm, I'm stumped! Do you have any other browsers on your computer? You could try downloading something like Google Chrome or Firefox just to see if they do the same in those.

Have you noticed any glitches on any other sites or just scrolling siggies on JM?

So far every other site seems to be fine.

It was fine one day and then I added my new siggy (the one of my son and daughter) and thats the last time I remember it working properly.

It was doing this a long time ago too and I remember some other people were having the same issue and some weren't. Then it started working again one day.

I have nooo clue!

I was just trying to figure it out, the top one is the code you have in your siggy, the second one is when I shuffled the images about. It's like it gets to a point and then stops. I'll ask about and see what I can find out as all your codes are correct. I'm wondering if it's something to do with IE8 as I use that

Have you recently run windows update and installed IE 8? As apparantly IE8 doesn't support the marquee code, i've just googled it. It's the same on my screen with everyones siggy.

Yeah its actually working now!!

I tried hitting that little broken page button up at the top to the right of the address bar (called Compatibility View), and it started working again. Weird!

haha it was complete fluke that I clicked that button as I had no idea what it would do!

Thanks for the fix! I saw this post last week and didn't reply because I didn't know the answer, just had the same issue myself, and remembered this and came back to see if there was an answer!
