I use Google Chrome and I keep getting a warning pop up when I try to read some threads in the TTC #1 Grads board (and even TTC#1). It basically says that the page may contain elements from "www.shirleytempledolls.com" which may host malware. When I google "shirley temple dolls" I found a "www.shirleytempledolls.com" and there is a warning on the google search page about that website containing some sort of malware!

I had a bad virus on my laptop in December so now I'm afraid to bypass the warning but someone mentioned a member on the TTC#1 who sells Shirley Temple dolls - but it doesn't seem like her siggie contains anything about it (I used my old desktop computer to check her siggie, because if this computer gets a virus I'm not that worried! ).

Is there a way to have siggies in that forum screened for malware? I'm not only worried for myself but everyone on that board, if they are using IE or Firefox and not getting the warning I'd hate to see them get a virus or anything like that.

If you're using Google Chrome could you check it out as well? Thanks!

I don't have Google Chrome on this computer but I am going to go download it and check it out. Are you seeing this on any particular threads?

I've had the warning pop up a several times over the last week in the TTC#1 board and the TTC#1 Grads board. One thread I noticed today is: http://www.justmommies.com/forums/f4...pic-heavy.html (I was SO wrong! (LONG and pic HEAVY)).

I used to use IE all the time but after getting a virus in December I switched to Google Chrome because it's got a better track record for safety.

Thanks!!!

One of the members on the grads board has her signature pic hosted on www. shirleytempledolls.com that is why you are getting the alert. I can't say whether or not shirleytempledolls.com hosts malware but the warning isn't coming from JM. It is because her image is hosted outside JM on shirleytempledolls.com. It is not a problem with JM but with the site that hosts the image. As long as you don't visit the site you won't have any problems.

So just reading the threads shouldn't hurt my laptop? I'm not hugely tech savvy but I know some malware can get downloaded on your computer without you knowing so I was worried about that.

Thanks!!!!
