I am a little sad there isn't more the spiritual board can't do to meet the needs of the atheists, but I also understand. I would support it. Good luck! ((I'll be a lurker!))

I think it would be a great idea. I am not an athiest but my sister is and it would be great for me to be able to talk with people who share her views. We are very close but it is just something I don't totally understand. And don't worry, I am not going to debate in there....I have a very open mind!

I was actually just coming here to suggest the same thing (the topic somewhat came up in my playroom). I'm not really athiest so much as agnostic, but the two are very similar in some aspects. Perhaps it could be an Agnostic/Athiest board?

I'd have no objection to it being for atheists and agnostics.
I know there's already the spirituality board, and MRobinson is a fantastic host, but atheism is the lack of any sort of higher-power fueled belief system. (Sorry, it makes sense in my head!  ) So it doesn't quite fit in with a board that discusses spiritual matters. IMHO.
