I thought I'd figure out how to make a poll but I can't... can someone guide me how?

When I press, the click here to manage this topic's poll, I then click on the add poll question and fill it out but it just won't become a poll after that... what am I missing?

Here is how to do a poll.

1. Click new topic
2. Below topic title and description it says poll options - click here to manage this topics poll - Click where it says click here
3. Type poll title in space provided
4. Click add poll question under poll title.
5. Type question
6. Click add poll choice
7. Add 1st choice
8. repeat steps 7-8 until you have all the choices.
9. you can also add a 2nd or 3rd question by clicking add poll question
You are allowed 3 questions and 15 choices per question

I don't see where you tried to make a poll. I had to play with this a bit to do this myself. When you make a new topic you need to click on the option for Manage this topics poll. The post above had good instructions.

To add a poll to a reply.

Click Add reply

Then Click here to manage this topic's poll

Then Type in your Poll Title - I put "Can you make a poll?"

Then under Poll content you will see Add Poll Question, Type your question there
I put "I can make a poll but can you?"

Then Add poll choice
I typed Yes

Then Add poll choice
I typed No

Then I clicked Close Poll forum

Play around with this. I am sure you can figure it out.

Well now I just feel like an idiot... but I'll test it later with your instructions... (The reason why there is no poll where I left a link is because it didn't work for me when I tried the instructions 1shortmomma was kind enough to reply to... I guess I just don't follow good instructions well enough.)

I deleted your practice thread. I am going to try to make some more help files soon with screen shots of everything. I think that would help. Glad you figured it out.

It took me a while to figure out you have to close the poll before you posted the thread
