ok so here i am being a dumb newbie, but is there a way that you can tell if someone has replied to your posts or do you just have to go back and actually check it to see if anyones wrote back? geez, am i even making sense? sorry, that is probably a ridiculous question so don't laugh at me!

Hi there

You can subscribe to topics you have replied to. I think this happens automatically but you can change the settings in your User CP (control panel) so that you can choose to get email notification for replies, or just check your subscribed threads in your user CP.

You can get to your user CP through the pink menu you'll find under the title of the post on this page
