I am writing to find out why I got a message "message awaiting moderator approval" when I posted today.

I did a search and I found that someone else had this problem and asked this question about their own account in another forum, but no-one bothered to reply, so I thought I'd ask it here.

I have been a member and regular poster since I found out I was pregnant last month, and haven't had any issues, as I follow all the rules of the forum, so wanted to get this resolved so I can continue to participate.

You probably posted a picture or a link. We have a spam management program that filters new members that post links or posts. Once you get to 100 posts you won't have to deal with this. I will go check for posts that need approved now.

New members with fewer than 100 posts who make a post that includes pictures or links to photos or other urls, those posts are put in moderation. It's a safety feature in order to prevent spammers.

I'll go approve your posts now.

I looked at your post and it does not appear that you posted links or images, so I'm going to assume that the length of your post must have triggered the moderation of it.

I think your post may have been filtered because of some of the key words in your post. It had some key words in your post that spammers might use.
