This is a problem with Firefox, but usually clearing your cookies & cache and then closing your browser will do it.

I am passing this on to our tech team but can you try this please? Log out. If you get a temporary maintenance page, hit back and then log out again. I sometimes have to log out twice to get logged out.

I always have to log out twice, and that is with internet explorer. The first time I log out it tells me the page is unavailable (it is not a JM maintenance page).
