I was wondering what everyone might think of a new board for an Abuse Victim's Support board.

I know there are several women on here that might benefit from talking to others in similar situations. It's nice to have our playgroups and such, but sometimes when you talk about stuff like this it makes you worry that everyone just thinks you are complaining all the time. It would be nice to know that those visiting a board such as the AVS board have been there and totally understands the wild and random thoughts/memories that come flooding at you all of a sudden.

I'm all for it!!! Those who have been through it can help other still going through it and it will be a good therapy for all.

I think it is a great idea for victims of abuse to have a place to talk.I also think it should include victims of rape/sexual assault.

I think its a great idea.
I think there was a thread like this one time before.

I mean.. Its hard to talk to someone who hasnt been through it because they dont understand as well and sometimes judge you. At least thats the way i used to feel. My ex was an abuser..

I think this is a great idea for a board, and I think that it should also be a protected board, like the way the Love and Intimacy board is set up... where you need permission to access it. That way the women who post there feel protected.
