I am trying to figure out how to put an avatar up. Everytime I try (even with pictures that have pixels under 150x150) it says invalid image or something. Do I not have the required post count yet? What is the official post count to be allowed siggies, avatars, etc?

I think the avatar has 100x100 or less... I'm not sure if that helps, but that's what I know

Avatars need to be no bigger than 100x100 pixels, with a file size of 19.5K or smaller. I'm not sure what image you're trying to use, but the Invalid Image message is probably coming up because it's too big. If you have a program like GIMP or Photoshop - or if you upload it to Photobucket - those all have the ability to size it down for you.
