I've been on another board for a while, it's in French and they have this section called Mailbox for the members where members just go there whenever they wanna say something to another member. For exemple: in the "How old were you when you first thought of having a baby?" post in WTTC, waynesmommie told me something that had nothing to do with the subject, if we had a mailbox for the members, she could have gone to that section and make a post with my name as the title and when i would check the Mailbox for members section i'd see what she had to tell me I just thought it was a good idea

Imagine there's somebody I wanna leave a message to, I just post in the Mailbox section, with the person's username as the title and tell her what i have to tell her. it's like PMing but public lol, if it's too personal I guess just PM the person

This is a great idea for a smaller forum site. I don't think it is practical for our site. We have so many members here that people don't really leave messages like that. I have seen what you are talking about on other sites and I just don't think it would work on a site of this size. I think it would be a great idea to do on one particular forum if the members were interested but I think messages would get lost in the shuffle if we did it here.
