I think that is a very good idea for a board.

My son, Ricky was also diagnosised with this at 2 mths. His head tilted to the left and he could only turn it to one side. They sent him to physical therapy and had me to some at home whenever I changed his diaper. Within a couple of weeks, it was gone. I was told by the physical therapist that correcting the turning of the head would be the easy part and if we corrected the tilting in therapy, it was rare to do without surgery.

What kind of treatment are they having you and your son do?

i think it would be a good idea for a board too, lots of ladies in the july board have babys with it. my son just got diagnosed with it and also a really misshapen head, but he has had it sence birth but they couldn't really say much till he was able to hold his head up. we start pt next week. i think the board would help mommies talk about physical thearpy and other processes with torticollis

My thoughts on this is that it's awfully similar to what is in the Developmental Delays board..... along with other muscle tone issues (my son has both hypotonia and hypertonia) that require intervention and can cause delays in things like holding up head, crawling, etc.

My son was born with it and has been in therapy for 9 months (along with other problems). I've been posting on the D.D. board. He isn't nearly as delayed as some of the kids there, but it's still nice to vent my frustrations and brag on his little accomplishments.

I just added this today.
Torticollis & Plagiocephaly

I added plagiocephaly to the board as well since they are related disorders. (I hope that is okay with everyone)
