It seems that a lot of boards are losing membership and traction to due the fact that JM is not user friendly for mobile devices. But Facebook is, so many, many groups are moving there for conversation.
There is a sense that people want to stay here, but the convenience factor of FB wins out, so more and more boards are fighting to stay alive, and it feels like a losing battle. I know my home board, the July 09 Playroom, is becoming desolate. I was resistant to joining the Facebook group because I wanted to keep my personal identity (last name) private, but if I want to maintain connections with my JM friends, I have to be in both locations. It stinks.

What's worse is FB is less moderated, so we've seen some nasty spats happen over there, which in turn negatively affects the JM page.
If Internet Brands is interested in keeping the traffic up on the message boards, I think they should seriously consider working on an online app. The appetite of the users is out there.
Is there anything already in the works? I saw this was requested back in July when the initial transfer was announced, but it was understandably early to dive right in.
