I know VBulletin has this option but I'm not sure if it's available here on JM. I'd like to be able to hide boards that don't pertain to me (Due Date Clubs and Playrooms).

It is available but we are having some issues with the collapse feature at the moment. I've let our tech team know about this but haven't had an update on this yet.

Thanks a ton! I didn't see it at all when I went to User CP and then Edit Options if that helps the tech team at all.
