I have a 3 year old step daughter that my husband had from his first marriage. I have soo many questions about discipline, my place in her life, problems with her mother/family, legal issues, child support questions, etc etc etc etc! I could go on and on about the rights and wrongs of being a step mother to her. I never know what is crossing the line or what my place is in anything..

I thought it might be nice to discuss opinions and views of other step parents and get advice from other step parents who know more about it. Plus it would be nice to read from other people who are going through the same thing so I know I'm not alone!

I love my step daughter as if she was my own and I just want to do the right thing her life. I dont want to step on any toes but then again I dont want to be left behind in her life either....
