I know this has been suggested before, but I was thinking maybe it would get a little more support this time. I was thinking about a board for general grief/loss of a loved one. I know there are boards for pregnancy loss, parent loss, etc. But, there is not one for just loss in general, of any family member or friend. I know a board like this would help me a great deal. Thanks so much for your consideration!

This is a great idea! I've run into several people IRL lately who have lost children (5-6 years old) or adult siblings. They would love a board like this and I'd highly recommend it to them.

i'm all for it. my beloved aunt (of everyone in the world... she's in my top five for best friends/companions/soulmates) has very slowly been losing her life, over the past year. she had a stroke last week, and has a blot clot near her heart, that she needs surgery for. as a jehovah's witness, she is unwilling to accept a transfusion... i so wish she would... but, if that is how she wants to go out... showing her eternatal gratitude and love... then so be it, who am i to be angry with her? she's very ill otherwise, as well. sorry for the life story, but yeah... it looks like her time is coming, and she's "just" my aunt, but a very close friend, and it would be very nice, to not have to even leave my home here at jm, for hugs and supporting one another.

Is there a certain number of people that have to show interest before a board can be made? Just wondering

I love this idea! I have been wishing there was something like this recently. I lost both my grandparents a few weeks ago. They passed within 27 hours of each other. My grampie was sick... he'd had 3 heart attacks that weekend and we knew he wasn't going to be with us much longer, and Grammie died as a result of an accident she had on the way to the hospital to see Grampie.
I've been really wishing there were somewhere to go, and none of the other grief boards are appropriate. I would love if this idea came to life! It would be great to have a place to go.
