Ask a Teacher Board!

I was thinking about this b/c I am a teacher & would love to provide helpful information to parents. I know that at times parents don't come to us & this board would be a way to get answers/concerns addressed. I would love to help others if I have the opportunity & I think this would be a great way to do so. Anyone with me on this?

I may turn out to be your biggest fan...I'm starting to homeschool this year!

What a GREAT idea! I'm a former teacher myself. We have several teachers in the NovPR. We're always helping each other with curriculum ideas and stuff like that.

I'd love to help public/private/homeschool parents here with frustrations in general or specific subject ideas.

Jennifer ~ I haven't actually had the time to get to the Homeschooling board quite yet b/c teachers went back to school this week & students start next week so I have been busy. I was really thinking more about all those public/private school parents that may have questions for teachers about issues at school, how to deal w/ them & how to maximize their childrens' learning capabilities both at home & at school BUT it would be open to all parents of course!

i like the idea. my oldest is very hard to motivate and i would love somewhere to go for ideas!

I used to teach pre-school before I made a career change and became a nurse. I think this board would be awesome! I would definitely be a part of it!
