I'd like to see a WAHM board. I see a SAHM board and a Working mommies board (daycare/school), but not one that really addresses the stress of fitting an 8 hour day around infant/toddler care.

I think that it would be fair to have a WAHM, if the SAHM board doesn't include those working.

I think there are a lot of road blocks to working at home. I work from home part-time (& go to work part-time), and I'd be interested in how others overcome the challenges that I face.

Cool! I already see the message that says it's not a place to advertise for your downline and such. That's a good idea. I don't have a business per se... I just have 2 jobs that are both gracious enough to allow me to work from home. Between the two of them I average about 50 hrs per week... and keep up the house, take Ben to all of his therapy appts, etc. ( and post here WAAAY too much! ) It would be nice to find other moms who are doing the same thing.

I would love to join a wahm's board. Except now I just learned I won't be able to do school at home but wahm nonetheless Let's try and get it going! I'm not a mom quite yet- but I agree that it would be nice to share both the joys and the venting that I am sure are involved with being a wahm. I've looked at wahm boards and most of them are geared towards recruiting other moms to your business. One that is actually focused on mommyhood would be alot better
