Hi all,

I just thought about this. What if we had a board devoted to September 11? A place were you can talk about the shows/movies coming out on September 11 events, any personal experiences that happened during that time & peoples losses. & a bunch of other things.

What do you think?

well in my honest opinion......i think that it can turn into a debate.....i think that it was a horrible tradgedy but there is so much politics surroounding it that i think its best that we dont open it up to that kwim...

I agree... there are ladies here from all over the world, from all different religions/cultures, and from all walks of life. Losing someone personally could be discussed in the grief board. Political issues could be discussed in the news board. Devoting a board to 9/11 entirely could stir a pot that's better left alone. A debate would only make matters worse.

As far as the public safety aspect (firefighters, police, EMS who lost their lives), posts can be made in the public safety forum. For general grief, there is a general grief board. Military aspect, there is a military board. So there are basises covered where it can be discussed. I agree that if there is a specific 9/11 board, it will cause some debates more than likely. I do know in the public safety families, I plan to do something to commemorate it!
