I know several of us could use the support of a board for moms/pregnant women with depression. I am pregnant with my first and STRUGGLING with depression and anxiety as well as the decision whether or not to take my medication while pregnant. I have posted the same message in a LOT of ddc's. Depression is very common and very serious and feel that a board to bring us together for advice and support would be VERY benificial.

I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for, but we have a mental health board and a post partum depression board. The mental health board is mostly depression and anxiety, although there are other topics there as well.

I agree that it would be great to have a board where women suffering from anxiety and depression can hook up. It is an important topic. Medications have serious side effects that I would love to discuss. I was taking Paxil for many years and was not told to stop until I entered my 2nd trimester. I am worried sick about the teratogenic effets these drugs have on our babies. I have done some research and would love to talk to other mothers about what they know. I would be happy to share my knowledge.
