In light of my daughter's first birthday today, I wondered if JM might consider creating a forum, or a subforum of the breastfeeding or attachment parenting forums, for nursing past a year? Like the first 6 weeks, it is a time when support and encouragement are especially valuable to continue!
name suggestions:
Breastfeeding Beyond a Year
Nursing Past a Year
Breastfeeding Past Infancy

I don't consider myself truly an AP parent, though I tend that way on a few things, so I'd rather see it go under BFing. JMO though. Lemme know where it ends up so I can subscribe to it!

good idea! my baby is almost one and we arent near done nursing! i think it shoudl be a subfirum in the breastfeeding forum.

I'd like an extended nursing board, too. I don't know that I like the term "breastfeeding past infancy" though, since technically, infancy lasts until the first permanent molars erupt. 
I'd prefer it just be called "extended nursing" or "nursing past 1 year" or something like that...
(I'm so anal about technicalities...  )
I'd love it, though... I'd visit in about four months.  I was posting on another site when I EN'd my middle daughter, and it was great to talk to other ladies about our "weird" actions.
