Children w/ Cancer

I think we need a board (or subforum) for children w/ cancer. I know there are A LOT out there, so it would be nice if they could start spreading the word while visiting each other in the hospital and such. It would be great for all those moms to have a central location for support when their child might be the only one in town with a particular form of cancer. KWIM?

I hope to never need to post there, but it would be nice for those who need it.

Edit... for that matter... a board with any type of rare disease or syndrome. It's so frustrating to search for answers when there are none or when you don't know how to use a search engine efficiently.

I am new to the boards, but I think that is such a great idea. I would be willing to look into it and help.

I agree. Unfortunately, there are several babies with cancer on JM.

I think this is a fantastic idea. I know that there have been several babies diagnosed recently and it would be great if they had a place to discuss things with someone who really knows, ya know?

It's sad, but I think most of the people who would really want to see this board simply don't have time to surf the index and see this suggestion. It would take some word of mouth by the host(s) of it to get it started, but I still really believe it would be a great support shoulder them.
