I know I'm new, so I hope I'm not stepping on any toes with these suggestions!

It'd be really great if there was just a "general pregnancy" board. I'd like to talk to other moms about general pregnancy stuff that doesn't belong in any of the very specific pregnancy boards. It'd also be really cool if there were boards for say, each trimester.

I think the due date clubs would probably be the best place to find what you are looking for. I'm not sure what month you are due, but if you check it out you can find a lot of advice and support there.

We have had a suggestion for prenatal health to talk about general pregnancy and there was never enough interest. I think the trimester boards would take members away from the due date clubs but I think that the prenatal health topic is a decent idea. We probably won't be adding any new boards until January though.

Well, here's an example: I would like to start a thread to talk to other second-time moms. But if I post this in my due date club, I'm missing out on the input of the majority of the pregnant members. For something like this, I don't need to talk to people who are due around the same time. I want to address all of the mommies here. There's currently no appropriate forum to do this. And that topic is just one example. I think not having anywhere for general stuff like that really brings down the value of these forums. I've not found many forums that are as active as this one, so I hate to see it limited in this way.

You could try posting your question in BTDT moms, large families, done having children, mommy lounge, or other boards that have a lot of 2+children moms in them.

I agree........this is a very detailed board, with a forum for almost everything you can think of, but maybe it is just a tad too detailed? A general "catch-all" forum might be a good idea!
