Well there's an Autism Spectrum board and a developmental delays board...but what about sensory disorders?

From what I understand, aren't most sensory disorders (or at least, sensory integration disorder) considered part of the autism spectrum?
Even still, maybe another board would be of benefit?
I'd be interested in it...I have sensory problems myself and since it could be genetic, I'd sure be reading the posts once I have a baby!

i dont have it or either does my daughter and i wouldnt like 2 go through it but i support this idea for the laddie who have it or their child does..

Not all sensory problems are part of ASD's. A lot of preemie will have sensory issues...like oral aversion and not be autistic. My son has a lot of sensory problems and his therapists and dr are starting to think it has nothing to do with autism or SID (sensory integration disorder) just sensory difficulties I suppose.
