well i went into 'my friends, and found the little spot where you can see who has added you as a friend, and some one who added me was banned over a year ago.... just wondering what was up with that TIA!

There has always been an add to buddies feature. Anyone that was added as a buddy before the upgrade would be listed as a friend now.
