We are considering adding additional forums to discuss circumcision as well as keeping babies intact. A lot of our members have questions but do not want to ask them on a debate board. We think this would give our members a place to discuss this without fear of debate. If these were added to the boards they would not be open for debate. They would be for support and information ONLY. If this is something you would be interested in seeing please let us know by posting here.
Missing my Mommy Weightloss & Fitness girls. You're the best!
I think its a good idea, lots of ladies post questions about circumsion and 9 times out of 10 the thread turns into a debate with some fanatic joining just to post about it and the thread ends up getting locked.

It is a good idea, but those boards will have to be VERY closely monitored. From my experience there's always some interboard posting that usually ends with one side attacking the other on their own board. Some people are very opinionated about this subject and wouldn't miss the opportunity to preach their ideas to the "other" crowd.
I just recently asked a question about being offensive and trying to be supportive. A few of the responses I got, indicated that they didn't see the debate board as a place for support.
With that information, I would support this idea of starting a different sub-forum, one for support/information on the subject of circumcision. Maybe it could encompass a few other subjects? (I just recently found out about some theories about attached parenting, etc. I would like to be able to ask questions about things like that too- without judgement.)
The circumcision care and intact care boards are here. They are down under the children's health section. Please read the rules for posting on those boards (there is a sticky posted on them) before posting.
