I put in a new idea for a board a couple weeks ago but never got any kind of response. Should I expect to? Not even necessarily a yes or no, but just an acknowledgement that my e-mail was received... Just curious.

I don't know if they'll send a response for a board request. I think it might be a wait and see kind of thing. May I ask what kind of board you requested? Just curious.

I requested a board for Car Seat Safety... Where people can come to ask questions about installation, car seat choices (I know there is the gear board but I think this would be a better place for specific carseat questions), harnessing questions, or whatever type of carseat questions there might be!

They might not do a board that is specifically for the carseat info. But I think it would work as part of a larger "child safety issues" board. Then it could incorporate any issues related to keeping babies/children safe whether it be carseats, childproofing a house, harmful household products, etc. Perhaps you could suggest something like that because I think it has a good chance to make it onto the forum.

Hmmm. You don't think so? I know of two other large pregnancy communities that each have "Car Seat Safety" forums. It's a much larger subject than one might expect. I agree, I have seen some topics come up on the baby gear forum but I don't necessarily think someone who does not know how to properly install a carseat would go directly to the baby gear forum.

Anyway, thanks for the suggestion, maybe I'll send another e-mail.

I emailed them too and suggested the addition of a VBAC board. I didn't get a response, but I didn't expect to as I'm sure they get lots of suggestions and it would be hard to address each one personally.
