We have now set it so that members can change their own display name and no longer need to PM me for it.

To change your display name, click on My Controls at the top and to the right of your screen.

Then on the left, towards the middle under Personal Profile, click on Change Display Name

Then just type in the name you want. If the name is not taken, you will get a green check mark next to the box. Enter your current password and click on continue.

I'm happy to help if you run into any trouble with this. Please note that you are allowed ONE display name change per 30 day period.

Very neat! So does that reset your post count, or keep everything the same?

Yes, you won't lose your post count and it only changes the name that displays when you post. The name you use to log in will remain the same.

I tried to change my display name to: CherylK

I got the green check, and clicked continue, but then it gave me an error and wouldn't work. The error said I don't have access to that feature.

could you please help me?

You probably have to have more posts in order to change your name. I am not 100% sure about that, but you only have 4 posts and most features open up after 10.
