Hi all..I am obviously new here and trying to get acquainted with this new site, which is huge compared to the ones I have been on previously. I have been trying to look around but have a few questions, which probably have answers that are right in front of me, but I cannot seem to figure it out.

Where is my inbox located?

Is there an easy way to check new replies to my posts etc?

Is there a member list that I can go to to add my people to my friends list that referred me here?

Is there a "getting started" section to answer all these remedial questions that I have missed somewhere?

At the top, towards the right of each page, there is a link called "My Controls." That's where your inbox is and a whole lot more.

As for viewing replies to your posts, you can check the box "enable email notification of replies" or find one of your posts and, when you click on your username, a dropbox appears, where you can find all of your topics/posts.

The reason you aren't seeing an inbox is because you need ten posts before you can use the private message system. Once you have ten posts you will see a link for your messages.

Thank you so much for your help!! I wondered if there was a minimum post count for the messaging system, but could not find the info anywhere!!

I now see how I can easily find my replies as well!
