Using a name like Summer or Autumn when your baby isn't even going to be born in that season?

What about using a name like Natalie which means "born on Christmas day" when your baby isn't even due around Christmas time at all?

I wouldn't think twice about using Natalie or another name without an obvious meaning to it, but it always seems strange to me when I meet an April born in October.

Natalie and Noel are pretty mainstream, so I wouldn't consider that odd for any month, but hearing someone called Easter who's born in July kind of throws me. I guess it just depends on exposure.

I think if you like it you should use it no matter what. I kind of think it would be corny to name your April baby April.. but thats just me

Though seasonal names aren't my cup of tea, I don't think it matter when they're used. Honestly, I'd almost rather someone name their child Summer who was born in the winter, than someone name their child Summer who was born in the summer. But really, it doesn't matter.

I don't think it really matters. DH and I thought about naming our dd Natalia (born on Christmas Day), and she was born in feb.
