We just found out we are having a boy, i was positive it was a girl...had the girl name....i guess that should have been a clue to me! We are tossing around names and just thought i would get opinions on a couple we like...WDYT?

You joined on my bday July 27th and off your list I like Liam best. Maverick has almost become such a political term- not that I dont support the Mavericks (McCain-Palin) but its so Tom Cruise in 'Top Gun' and again with the politics that its hard to see past those assoc.

I really like Tanner Liam. Maverick, i'm not a big fan of... I can see him being called Ricky and that makes me cringe just thinking about it.

Liam, definitely!
Maverick and Tanner aren't that different. They're quite trendy, and they're also words with meanings aren't that great. I wouldn't want to be named 'unbranded range animal' or 'one that tans hides.'

Loving the opinions. it sure helps. I am glad someone pointed out the meanings, didn't even think about that. As for Maverick being political, that is okay...i love McCain LOL!
I really love Liam and it was our original thought before we knew the sex, but i worry about its popularity. Don't want him 1 of 8 kids in kindergarten with the same name

I like Colin, Declan, Devin and Conrad. I like Liam and Tanner isn't bad either, Maverick ehh NMS.
