My name is Gabriella. It is spelt Gabrielle on my birth certificate but because people kept pronouncing my name wrong, my parents started using an "a" instead of "e" when writing/using my name. Of course on legal documents etc it's Gabrielle.

My parents pronounce my name "Gabrielle" as "Gab-ree-ella" but people kept saying "Gab-ree-elle". So I was wondering how you guys pronounce Gabrielle/Gabriella.

Long post eh? Hahaha sorry.

Where are you/your parents from? I know in some languages an E at the end of a word or name can be pronounced more like an A (for example, the name Anneliese is ah-na-lee-sa, not ah-na-lees), but in English Gabrielle and Gabriella aren't pronounced the same.
