I like Milly! I think Milly is spunky and cute. Hey, if Molly can work for a full fn why can't Milly?

I think it's cute, but better as a nickname. There are a lot of names Milly could be short for:

Amaryllis
Amelia
Camellia
Camilla
Camille
Melisande
Mildred
Millicent

I think it's absolutely adorable. One of my top picks for a girl name was Millie, but my husband shot it down. He also shot down Mae. They both sounded old to him. We settled on Rileigh in the end.

I like it but I agree with most posters above, I would only use it as a nickname. I think it's adorable on a baby, a child, and even a high schooler but I just can't picture a 35 year old business woman in a three piece dress suit introducing herself as Milly. Amelia, nn Milly, would be great though!

I think Milly is very sweet! And I believe the name will age well - the person makes the name not vice versa!
I do have to admit to liking Molly a tad more though! Although Molly is much more common.
If I was to use Milly as a nn I'd use it as a nn for Milicent!
