We're having a girl in February. DH and I are totally stuck on names. So far, there are only a few that we like, and I'm just not sure about them. I think DH likes them more than I do. Please give me your honest opinions on these names! (The middle name will most likely be Clara.)

Marigold
Lily

I love Marigold. The others are nice too, but much more popular, so Marigold is more interesting to me. Violet Clara sounds best, but Violet is my least favorite of the three first names.

I like Marigold and it has good nicknames - Mari, Mare, Goldie
though if I were to go with Marigold, I'd use Claire instead of Clara

I like all 3- in fact Violet and Lily are on my own girls' name list and I might have to add Marigold!

Marigold is so uncommon nowadays but classic and beautiful! I also Love Lily, but it is REALLY popular. I love the sound of Violet, but whenever I see it written I see "Violent"

I would LOVE other suggestions! They do not have to be flower names at all. We both prefer classic, "pretty" names and we don't like names such as Josephine, which is lovely but unfortunately reads like a male name that's been feminized.
