I think there is way too much room for scrutiny with this name....

"What are you Willing to do"

"He's Willing and ready"

There are far better Will names IMO. William, Willem, Wilco, Wilson.

We have a family friend who named their child Willing. Their other son is Briggs. I thought those were interesting names! They are family surnames btw.

If it's a family surname, then I guess they had a good reason to use it, but it still has a whole lot of teasing potential. "Are you Willing?" and so on. It would have been better as a middle name.
