I personally love the name Sydney but it is my dh's dream vacation so he looks at it like a vacation spot not a name. I love Sydney Alexa Mae and I wanted to call her Sam which would have been the initials but oh well lol.
With the beginning of the name starting with an S and ln starting with a T you may or may not want to avoid the vowels otherwise it could spell sit, sat, set, sot etc.......if that matters to you????

Sydney is the most beautiful name you can give a child, JMO Look at my siggy, heehee. I am struggling for another name for #2 because I just love the name so much that I can't find one that is comparable for me. Our DD is Sydney Mia. We also thought about Sydney Katherine and Sydney Colette and Sydney Noelle. I like Sydney Scarlett as well!

I like Sydney!!
I don't really like Sydney Scarlett, though. I'm not very fond of first and middle names that start with the same letter.. too much, IMO.

I think Sydney is an alright name, not really my style. I prefer Scarlett actually. I think Scarlett Thomas is really pretty.

I love Sydney Since it's two syllables and your last name is two syllables, I'd avoid a two syllable middle. If each name is the same number of syllables, it's hard to get it to flow without sounding like a drum beat:
bum-bum, bum-bum, bum-bum.
Sydney Anne Thomas
Sydney Alexis Thomas
Sydney Amelia Thomas
Sydney Beth Thomas
Sydney Brianna Thomas
Sydney Brooke Thomas
Sydney Caroline Thomas
Sydney Danica Thomas
Sydney Dawn Thomas
Sydney Elizabeth Thomas
Sydney Erica Thomas
Sydney Faith Thomas
Sydney Grace Thomas
Sydney Gianna Thomas
Sydney Jane Thomas
Sydney Jade Thomas
Sydney Julia Thomas
Sydney Jordana Thomas
Sydney Kennedy Thomas
Sydney Kimberly Thomas
Sydney Michaela Thomas
Sydney Mackenzie Thomas
Sydney Olivia Thomas
Sydney Paige Thomas
Sydney Raine Thomas
Sydney Victoria Thomas
Good luck!

It makes me think of Jennifer Garner on Alias, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.
I don't think I would pair it with Scarlett though.
