What do you think of the name Daveigh for a girl? I'm trying to find a way to honor my father if we have a girl.

I don't like it. Assuming your father's name is David, the feminine form of that is Davina, which I think ages much better, though isn't as trendy- cutesy names seem to be trendy for girls, and Daveigh is definitely cutesy.
I really hate the idea that misspelling a nickname of a male name creates a feminine version of it. It's like saying "let's take a boys' name, mess up the spelling, make it childish and cutesy, and then it's a girl's name."

I dislike it as well. I like honouring his name but would try something out like erica mentioned, with his name incorporated. My oldest's middle name is Danielle after my dad Daniel and my youngest's middle name is Makenna after DH's dad Ken.

I'm not a fan of the name, but I love that you want to honor your father.
What about Davannah or Daviana?

I love that you want to honor your father by naming your child after him that is so great. But I also am not a fan of it. I really like the suggestion of Davinia though.

I think Daveigh would be a cute middle name If I were naming my daughter and wanted a first name after David, I'd probably just do a D name in general (I don't like any of the suggestions above. It's hard to find a Dav___ name that doesn't sound masculine to me)
Danica
Danielle
Diana
Daphne
Good luck!

I agree with the others, I really dislike it. Davina, Davia and Daviana would be much better.
Why not use David as a MN if you have a boy?
David means beloved. Why not use a name that means beloved?
