So we have our boy name. It is Cameron Adam. We have also agreed on a girl name just not the spelling. I ike Cadie Marie and dh likes Caydie Marie. I think Caydie is really starting to grow on me. Does the spelling seem odd to anyone else?

Very cute... I like Kadie I also wanted to let you know that I love Camryn for a little girl too. It's one of those names that could be for a girl or a boy. The reason I love Camryn for a lil girl is because I absolutely adore Camie for a lil girl..... SO CUTE! And it's very close to Caydie. I can't use it now tho because DHs step sister just had a lil boy and named him Cameron.

I would definitely go with Cadie over Caydie. Caydie looks like you're trying too hard to 'stand out' you know what I mean? Cadie is 'different' enough as is.

Caydie looks like you are trying to make the name "unique" by spelling it differently, despite the fact that everyone seems to be doing that. It just blends into the mess of Caydees, Caycees, Caylees and Caysies out there. Cady would stand out more for being spelled correctly.

I don't think it sounds good with Marie because of the repeating -ie sound.
