Our baby is due at the end of June (probably a boy, but not 100% sure yet). We're think of going with a more traditional name like Christopher or Nicholas. What amused us was we looked at a list of the top 100 names and a ton of them rhymed. Aiden, Brayden, Caden, Haden, Jaden (and different spellings of all of those). It's going to be pain keeping all of his friends' names straight.

Anybody have problems with this now?

And I bet there will be more variations of the -den names coming soon too. They are cute..but there are like 365 different spellings for the same name.

There are a ton of girls at DS school that are names Lexi, Alexa, Alexis, Alexia etc that does get confusing. I haven't had any rhyming friend issues (yet)

Well growing up, my best friend was Kristen, so we had the same name just spelled different. We were literally called, "Kristen with a K" and "Christen with a C". After a while of being called that, it didn't sound weird at all Just long.

When my sister was in middle school, her school friends were: Caitlin, Kaylee, Katie, Kylie and Alicia It was SUCH a pain getting their names right. Ugh.

In ds's preschool there is
Coleman (ds)
2 Coltons
and
Coulter

I won't lie it gets on my nerves that all their names are so close, but I wouldn't change it for anything
