What do you think of these scenarios:

---- A child named Paris because that's where her parents first met
---- An author naming his son Penn
---- A girl named Liberty because she was conceived on July 4th
---- A child named Dallas because that's where his/her father lives
---- A girl named Holly because she was born in December
---- A girl named Summer who was born in July
---- A girl named Summer who was born in October
---- A girl named Noelle because she born on Christmas Day
---- A girl named Noelle because she was conceived on Christmas Day

I like this idea...the only one that is a little corny is the author/penn one. As long as someone doesn't name their child "Backseat" or "Chevy Camaro" because that is where he/she was conceived...I think it's cute. Mine and DH's first vacay together after getting married (aside from honeymoon) was to Vegas. I joked that if we somehow got pregnant we'd name our daughter Keely Nevada...thinking back, I don't know what I was thinking but I think the idea is cute.

---- A child named Paris because that's where her parents first met cute, sentimental
---- An author naming his son Penn totally nms
---- A girl named Liberty because she was conceived on July 4th see Summer/October
---- A child named Dallas because that's where his/her father lives I don't like city names, and I'm not into the reasoning behind this
---- A girl named Holly because she was born in December see below
---- A girl named Summer who was born in July see below
---- A girl named Summer who was born in October if you like the name, i don't think it should matter when they were born
---- A girl named Noelle because she born on Christmas Day not something i would do, that would be like naming Cohen Valentino because I had him on Valentine's Day
---- A girl named Noelle because she was conceived on Christmas Day see Summer/October

I think people can name their kiddos whatever they want and for whatever reason. Considering my kiddo is going to be named because just because 'I like it', it's kind of cool that people have a story to tell about how they came up the child's name.

I like the idea of having a story/some meaning to the name, but I would steer clear of the idea of naming a child after the place or manner in which they were conceived. Honestly, I just don't think children needing to be hearing those kinds of stories! But the others would all work fine -- this is how names originally started, anyway (back in the caveman days).

I think they'd all be cute even though I'm not a fan of Penn at all.
