WDYT of Cerie? That's probably spelled wrong. It's pronounced like "series" without the last s.

Also, do you know how it's usually spelled? I heard it on TV the other day, and then remembered my old room mate in college had a sister with this name.

I think it's okay but would mispronounce it with that spelling....I read it as Keer-ie. I would probably spell it Ciery/Cyrie or Siery/Syrie....although I don't like the looks of any of those spellings, they just look more phonetically correct.

I have no idea how it's supposed to be spelled, because I've only heard it spoken. Cyrie or Syrie would make me pronounce the first syllable like Cyrus or Silas is pronounced.

Ciery would make me think it sounds like Fiery.

Cierie maybe?

Yeah I'd say Cerie.

Cerise is French for cherry and sounds very similar to series, so taking out the "s" would make it sound like series without the s!
