It's a neat nickname (for maybe Jesephine or Stephanie) but not a name I would use on it's own.

Isn't that Lena's sister's name from Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants? I don't like it as a name itself.

I actually knew of someone with this name- though it was spelled as Effie. Said the same, though - she was elderly (and since passed away). It's nmsAA.

I don't like it. A know a lot of people that say...I'm so ****** (fill in blank) or *** you! Just don't think it's attractive as a name.

Oh see- they wouldn't even let me type out ***** ing.

I'm not a fan. It just isn't feminine enough and seems incomplete as a name.

Not a fan. I know an Effie (spelled this way) and it's short for the Greek name Efigenia.
