I was just thinking the other day about how people tend to take traditional male names from the Bible and change them into female names by adding an "-elle" to the end, i.e. Michael ==> Michelle, Daniel ==> Danielle, Gabriel ==> Gabrielle, etc. But there are more suitable male names that someone could do this to that I've never heard anyone use. What do you think of:

Ezekielle (or Ezekiella)
Nathanielle (or Nathaniella)
Israelle (or Israella)

Also, there are some other words in the Bible that aren't really names but I think could work well as names, i.e.

Bethlehem (nn Beth)
Alleluia (nn Ally)
Genesis (nn Gen)
Jerusalem (nn Roo)
Nazareth (nn Nazzy)

Okay, so that last one's a stretch. But what do you all think?

Genesis is a name already.. ranked at 95 for girls in 2008 in fact. I think it's cute.

I think I'd only feminize a name like that if it was my husband's name, or someone else important to my family. Doing it randomly seems weird to me.

I've known of a lady named Bethlehem. The only one I think's kind of cute is Israelle.
