Last night I thought of Emersyn Grace for a girls name & now I've fallen in love with it lol.... WDYT? Does it go okay (Emersyn) with Gabrielle?

Honestly, IMO, they don't go very well together. Gabrielle is sooooo feminine and pretty- while Emerysn (i.e. Emerson) is extremely masculine to me. I kinda prefer it spelled Emerson, and on a boy. I think the best sibset would be a girly one.. JMO

that's true! LOL I guess I don't see Gabrielle as being pretty & girly, because Gaby is such a rough & tumble crazy kid...

I think they sound fine together. Gaby and Em seem like a great fit. I have to say I"m not a fan of the 'y' though. I just think it leads to a lifetime of correcting how people spell it FWIW.

Sorry, I have to agree with TravelingErika. Even with the Emersyn spelling it doesn't take away from it's masculinity for me. Emersyn/Emerson will always be a boy's name to me.

I like both names, but I think Emersyn/Emerson is a totally different style than Gabrielle and I like sibsets to have somewhat matching styles. Gabrielle is really feminine and Emersyn is unisex. Both are great, but I don't like them together.

I love the name Emerson Grace (prefer this spelling) and despite being a more unisex name, I like it with Gabrielle.

I like Emerson (this spelling) and it sounds nice with Grace.
Even though Emerson and Gabrielle are different styles, I like both the names and dont mind them together.
