Donielle --- dahn YELL --- does not sound like Danielle BTW

I think I prefer Danielle to Donielle - Donielle sounds kind of snooty. Your boys have great, earthy sort of names.. Donielle is just too uppity.

Danya is the better of the two, easily.

I prefer Anya to Danya and Danielle to Donielle, but I think Danya has the potential to be rather pretty.

I prefer Dania, however, I think it could get mispronounced as Dane-ya. Maybe I'm just thinking that b/c there's a city in FL spelled that way and pronounced Dane-ya.

My younger brother went to school with a girl named Danya Lamar and I always thought she had the prettiest name ever. I don't know why I forgot about it or ruled it out. I am leaning more toward Danya than Donielle right now.

Follow up question: Do you think that it's similarity to Donovan will be a problem?
I always call him by his full name so I am thinking it won't but still ????

Eh, it's a little close, but it's not a big deal.

My favorite art teacher in HS had a daughter named Danya/Dania Joan. I can't remember how it was spelled, but it was pronounced Dawn-ya.

I prefer it to Donielle.
