I'm not a huge fan, but there's certainly nothing wrong with it (wrong meaning obvious teasing opportunities, negative pop culture references etc).

I was supposed to name my daughter Mattea... since her father was Matthew. Thank god I didnt, since he is an ***, but it is an awesome name  So I am all for it. Will you be pronouncing it like Muh-tay-ah?

I love it, especially as my surname is Matthews so when I'm married it'd be a nice name as a sort of tribute to my maiden name, but, I don't think I love it enough to use it. I will be naming my first daughter Maria and I think Mattea is too close to that. Maybe I'll use it for a middle name.
