What names does DH/SO like?
Are they in line with what you like or are they "way out there"?

He likes more average girl names: Allison, Nicole, Jenny. We tend to agree on boy names. His favorites right now are Nicole and Emmett. His favorite girl name overall seems to be Alexandria - we already used it though.

My DH never actually suggests names himself. He mostly just discusses the names I shoot at him. Like if he likes it or not, he'll tell me to add it to the list, discuss what other name we've discussed that might suit it as a MN etc...

My DH is the same way...for the most part we like the same names, however, I am much pickier about popularity. If I just gave in we'd already be decided on a 2nd boy name but the ones he likes are too popular.

DH doesn't like any of the names I like. They are too girly (for boys since he is so sure we will never have a girl) or they would sound too funny with our last name. For example Lee is a family name but lee king would be too much like leaking...

He likes Millie (after his great gma). I also really like it but we don't agree 100% on a full name. I like Camilla, He likes Millicent. Good thing we don't have to worry about it, LOL!
I don't know what he likes for a boy name. It used to be E.J. (Easton Jacob). I like it but don't love it because it throws off my "theme", lol

My DH is a very simple kind of guy. We have a lot of trouble agreeing on baby names. Girls are a little easier, Boys are IMPOSSIBLE for us. Girl names must be feminine for him, he does not think little girls should have a gender neutral name.
Boys names must be very strong and manly...this is why we do not agree. He would names his sons James, Thomas, Michael, Adam, etc.... Very popular VERY normal names that are strong. I like the newer names that are a little different.

My DH doesn't suggest many names, he used to love Maya but I think we are both over it now. For boys he tends to like short strong names and short nicknames... like Ben, Sam and Nate, or Reid, Dean and Grant.

Dh and I like the same girl names 99% of the time.
With boy names, he is soooooo picky. There are very, very few he likes. And, the ones he likes I'm okay with, but not necessarily in love with.

We had trouble naming Jordin. I remember he liked Ariel. LOL I used to love The Little Mermaid. My family would've killed me had I taken him up on that name suggestion. I can't remember what other names he liked. He mainly suggested boy names and wanted something like Zachary or Jonathan.
