I considered the name Anderson when I was pregnant with Luke (son of Andrew and all). Andy didn't like it, since our last name also ends in "son."

The ones I like: Ezra, Felix, Milo, Bruce, Cyrus, Adonis, Nigel

I see several of them as girl names: Gael (Gail/Gayl/Gayle), London, Boston, Eden

I think it's really funny that King and Elvis are so close to each other in popularity, and followed by Prince, too.

Messiah seems a little.. um.. That would be an awful lot to live up to in a Christian country

Tommy and Bobby - while I'm not a fan of using a nickname rather than a given name, I'm even less fond of using a nickname AS a given name.

Junior - really? so-and-so Jr. isn't so bad, and is important to a lot of dad's / families. But just plain Junior?

Madden - I don't understand the appeal of this name at all.. Why would someone want to name their child after a negative emotion? **Maddening: exasperating; extremely annoying or displeasing** Not to mention the video game.

The rest aren't my style, but I don't see anything wrong with them.

KHALIL means "friend" in Arabic

JAIRO is Spanish. It's probably taken from the Hebrew name Jairus (a minor Biblical character)

YANDEL itself isn't a name, but there is a popular Puertan Rican singing duo called Wisin and Yandel. Yandel's name is spelled Llandel. No idea what the correct spelling means, though.

ASA means "doctor" in Hebrew

NASH is a surname

MOSHE is the original Hebrew for Moses

NIGEL is a form of Neil - it's a lot more popular in the UK than it is in the states.

ADONIS was a character from Greet mythology

i like:

Anderson
Ezra
Milo
Porter
Khalil (I think I just like it because it means friend, I'd never use it though)
Cyrus
Boston (guilty pleasure)
Asa
Nigel (surprised its so high up)

I'm surprised Eden and London are so popular for boys. I really dislike Messiah. I've never heard of Yandel.

I am surprised at some of these names. Elvis and King. I have never actually met anyone with these names. Some are ok: Lawrence, Bruce, Tommy. But there aren't actually any I would use.
