So I've been on the search for a 2nd boy and girl name b/c we've already used Blaise and once we use Avenley....we're left with nothing. I've been searching around and stumbled across Keely. Well Keely was our top name before Avenley and we just got tired of it and fell in love with Avenley. I think I like it again.

So wdyt about Keely? Does it go well w/ Blaise & Avenley? Would you consider it unique or does it blend in too much with the Kylie/Kayla crowd?

nmsAA. My sister in high school was friends with a Keely... Their group was: Caitlin, Keely, Kylie, Kaylee and Alicia We didn't even bother trying to keep their names straight. There are a lot of similar names out there right now and it just doesn't stick out in my head as one of the "special" ones.

If its the name for you, though, thats awesome. I know how hard you're looking for other names to fall in love with

Edit: Eek. "Katie's" name wasn't Katie at all... it was Kaylee.

It's nms personally, but it does fit in well with the other two names.

I think it fits with the other names, but I personally dislike it.

I think it's a lot like Kylie and Kaylee, for one thing. I also find it awkward to say. I think the L gets lost amongst the rhyming syllables, and is too soft when paired with the much harsher K *and* the double ee sound.

It also sounds like Kiwi, Keel of a ship, and Keel over. You can probably expect teasing along those lines. But hey - they'll tease her for something else if they can't use her name, anyways.

If it's the name for you, then that's totally awesome and congrats!

I knew a Keely in College, she said she had a lot of hard times with people calling her "Kelly" but that once people knew her, obviously there was no problem. I personally love the name. It goes really well with Blaise and Avenley, and does not at all fit in with the Kayla/Kylie crowd!

My Hair stylist for 10 years was Keely, she was a wonderful person. It isn't my style but I think it's cute. I don't think it's a very "professional" or adult name though.

It sounds good with Blaise and Avenley. But I'm not a fan of it.

I personally don't really like that Avenley and Keely both end in the same sound. Keely is a nice enough name though although I do think it kind of gets lost in all the Kelly/Kaylee/Kylie's

I really like Blaise and love Avenly. Keely just seems too popular to go with those. It seems too cutesy to me. I just know so many Kylie/kaylee/keely kids right now.

And, I'm the oddball out. I don't think it goes well with your other kids names. Yes, it's mostly unheard of like your other kids names,; but it has a different feel to it. And, I personally do not care to have two girl names ending in the -EE sound. If you had three girls, would you feel pressured to find anothe -EE name you love for the third DD?
